This whole idea here is to increase the fuel economy you get from your motor vehicle. Often, just a few modifications will support you to get by and use less petrol; and that unquestionably will aid you reduce your motoring expenditures each month. And it doesn’t matter which fuel you use to power your car or truck, be it petrol, LPG (liquid petroleum gas) or diesel.

Incidentally, you may suppose to get more miles for your dollar with either LPG or diesel fuel. As a rule, they are both more economical to drive than petrol. And while a petrol engine can not run on diesel, or a diesel engine run on petrol, it is a somewhat simple modification to add an LPG gas tank to a car or truck and make the motor run on liquid petroleum gas (LPG) or petrol (that’s gasoline) at the flick of a switch.

But before you go to those kind of lengths, let’s consider a heap of simple ideas to save cash on gas.

Firstly, let’s take a look at ways to obtain dandier miles per gallon from the car you already own and drive. You may make use of a few simple proficiencies to improve your fuel usage, and the dandier miles per gallon you get, the more dollars you will save each month.

Some petrol-saving tips are as easy as sharing cars with your neighbors or your work colleagues (do car pooling) or making sure the engine is running at greatest or most complete or best possible possible efficacy by taking in your automobile for a lube and a tune-up. Having the tires correctly inflated, or inflated just a little bit harder than normal, will save on gas as well.

Also, you might need to relearn your driving proficiencies so as not to be a “lead foot”. (That’s someone who accelerates much too hard and then keeps on necessitating to slam on the brakes when it’s time to stop or slow down.) Slow and steady may not win the race, but it will you fuel savings! And, isolated from being inconsiderate and probably even illegal, inconsiderate bad driving just burns up too much gas and wears out your brakes.

Other ways to cut fuel costs may be more significant, such as replacing your car’s carburetor, perhaps altering the engine or even interchanging your present automobile for a hybrid car, an electric vehicle or a compact, more fuel-efficient vehicle.

How Can I Live Without a Motor Car?

And for city residents with only short travelling distances each day, you will find even more probabilities to travel for less fuel and less money. If buses and trains are not available, you might consider buying a motorcycle, a motor scooters or even one of those super-economical mopeds (with very little built-in motors, underneath 49cc). These pedal-assisted bicycles have been usual in Europe and Mediterranean countries since the 1960s. But then those countries have numerous beauteous gratifying weather. You surely won’t want to be on two wheels if the climate is cold or wet.

Any schemes we may think of to improve your engine efficacy will likewise lower pollution (and that is very good for the world) and Lower your gasoline bills… (which is very good for you, yourself, in person). It could even end up being good for our national debt.

With petroleum prices all over the planet jumping up and down like a yo-yo, anything we may do to use less fuel is very good for our budget, is good for our society, our children and their grand-kids.

We also need to be sure that these changes to our way of life does not invent new difficulties we hadn’t contemplated. We need to be saving the environs as opposed to wrecking it. So all of us need to conservatively consider all the components before we pick the best way to save cash on our each day traveling expenses.

5It’s good to follow Jim
By Guadalupe Montes De Oca
I had been waiting a long time to get the basi season of According to Jim. I can’t comprehend why there are other shows that are not so good but come out sooner. This one (and Just Shoot Me!) had taken a long time.

If you saw the show you know what it is all about. The Special Features are good, peculiarly the part where Jim tells us the inside regarding the show, the characters and even the set up and mementos by the fridge that remind everyone one the set regarding their families and loved ones.

My only regret is that I finished observing the whole season already and there isn’t even a date for the second season or a way to subscribe -like they always have here at Amazon- to be notified when it will come out.

Don’t miss it. It’s funny! Jim and his brother in law make a outstanding pair. I like the fact that not similar to other family sitcoms, Jim does wrong most of the time but you don’t actually blame him but empathize with him because he is a regular guy not pretending to be “perfect… husband or father” but instead, the every day family man that makes faults and has fun … messing things up. I LOVE IT!

5Hilarious…..
By Clemens Marie-rose
So, since I’m from Luxembourg and have the prospect to see this on German TV, it is the synchrone version. They have german voices. Well, I know Jim’s real voice from movies, which I see in introductory version in Luxembourgish cinemas. Well, in Luxembourg we kind of are polyglotte…..
So to see this TV series in original, I purchased it through AMAZON in the U.S.
I adored this. It’s even more freshening than in German. Apart of Andy (arggggghhhhhhhhh) always showing his fat belly to everyone, my favourite caracters are Jim and Dana and the two girls. So keep going James Belushi! And please, the next seasons quicker on DVD!!!!!!!!
And last but not least: all fans of Belushi, buy his audio book: Real men don’t apologize. THIS is something to laugh out deafening an once in a while also get a little moist eyes too.

5“live dangerously … begin a family..”
By dujim
we exhaustively ENJOYED this 1st season. when the show firstborn started, did not watch any of it due to work commitments and our own family’ craziness lol. the writing is superb and the whole cast is EXCELLENT. the alchemy of ‘jim’ and ‘cheryl’ is spot-on. the show’s other family’s nucleus, ‘dana’, ‘andy’, ‘ruby’, ‘gracie’, and even baby ‘kyle’ -each has their own moments. they’re funny. we all LOVE ‘andy’ – he is so hilarious … peculiarly when he is around the ‘ruby’ and ‘gracie’ specially ‘gracie’. i like the way, j belushi potrays jim. a loving dad and husband, but what a HE-MAN … but, so ‘absent with malice’ …. he, evidently ADORE his family, love his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, yet being himself – all HE-MAN-LIKE but with a HEART!. can’t wait for the season two dvd! a will have to buy!

@Liberty309 doctorates on the subject. Presidents like George Bush and Ronald reagan were notorious for ignoring economists. Their failed economic policies (well really reagan’s failed economic policies that bush borrowed) are still taught today as an example of exactly why trickle-down economics doesn’t work.

I apologize if I have offended you but my point was that economists study this for a long time, and many people ignorant on the subject distrust them because they don’t understand it

@Liberty309 again, by uneducated I mean uneducated in economics. If I told you something about quantum mechanics it would probably be completely wrong and you’d laugh.

Just like you, having obviously not studied economics, have no concept of how aggregate supply and demand curves are derived, how national debt is accrued or what it even actually means, and why sometimes more debt is good.

The economists who make decisions and give advice to the president have

  3. Edward says:

    Wilford

@Liberty309 no, wouldn’t, because I am uneducated in physics. I could talk about economics, psychology, general business (my majors in college) or medically related topics (I am in an M.D. program). I wouldn’t talk about physics because I NEVER LEARNED ADVANCED PHYSICS

Just like people who are not educated in economics shouldn’t flip out, as this clearly uneducated (uneducated in economics) interviewer did.

@TheLostGuitarist Jesus Christ First of all I was with you until your last line. I asked a simple question there was no reason for that smart *** last line of yours. I happen to be very well educated. Just because I never studied economics doesn’t make me uneducated. I have an I.Q. 137 so im pretty confident I would out shine you in other subjects as well as that dumbass interviewer. Do you want want to have a discussion about physics, quantum mechanics, quantum nonlocality, string theory and more.

You’re a sponge. Get over it. BTW, those anger management courses didn’t take. But what else would you expect from so called “free” government medical services.

  6. Angelique says:

Who here, disagrees with the senator, and has at least a bachelor’s degree in economics from an U.S. accredited university? Because I do….I understand why more debt can be a good thing (albeit not always, its a complex answer that depends on many variables such as GDP, the source of the debt, the interest rate, etc etc).

Does anyone here understand macroeconomics on at least a bachelors level that truly doesn’t agree with that statement?

  7. Sherri says:

    Viola

@Liberty309 lol you apparently don’t understand the concept of debt on the national level. It’s not the same thing as “I owe 20 dollars”

macro economics works VERY differently than micro economics. The short answer is sometimes more debt can be a good thing. The long answer is it depends on the interest rate that the debt was borrowed, the source of the debt, the value of our GDP, our rate of growth, etc.

You’re just as uneducated as the uneducated interviewer lol

  8. Quincy says:

    Roscoe

Seriuously did I miss something in the interview. Explain to me how more debt is better. Because if were up to me I would rather have the money than the debt. Or is it just another crooked politician lieing through their teeth as usual

@PrisonerNumber9653 you officially are no longer taken seriously as someone with valid points lmao, i wasnt talking about rich ppl n their tax cuts, everyone gets effected by taxes, u never been poor obviously or else ud comprehend my words more carefully. I been taught by professors on this im not gonna take a crackpot bloggers knowledge over a man who does economics reports for the United Nations lmao ur words show u know nothing about macroeconomics.

The Dems are far too much beholden to Wall Street but the GOP is far, far MORE so. The pathetic horsecrap that the Dems are “owned by trial lawyers” because they support the RIGHT of consumers to a day in court when screwed by corporations, or attacking workers by saying the Dems are “owned by unions” shows again it’s ONLY the very rich you care about.
I’ve never been to Mexico, I’m as American as they come, and will NOT listen to this crap of “support my greed or you’re not American”

  12. Phillip says:

    Clement

@666sigma I’m not a “sponge”, NO person is a “sponge on society”, this sick crap that the rich are “productive” and the poor are “sponges” to excuse a system dedicated entirely to the notion of the rich get richer never had any truth or morality behind it.
BOTH the DLC centrist Democrats AND the right wing Republicans have supported this screwed up system, but your sick lies blaming poverty on the victims is entirely your side.

  13. Keenan says:

    Jean

    @PrisonerNumber9653

You are a worthless, non-productive sponge on society. Fannie and Freddie are Democratic institutions. Just ask Barney Frank and Maxine Waters. The CRA and GLB are Clinton’s baby. The failure to regulate derivatives lies at the feet of Rubin and Clinton. The Democratic party is in the back pocket of Wall Street, Lawyers and Untions just as the Republicans are beholden to Military Industrial Complex. You are as dumb as they come. Maybe you should go back to Mexico.

  14. Samantha says:

    Lolita

@666sigma I haven’t broadcast any “ignorance”, only the ability to see through the pathetic lies of the far right, who CREATED the debt with thier tax breaks for the rich and overspending on military madness for decades, and suddenly have cooked up the lie that “debt” is a serious issue to American families so they can further cut programs we need.
It’s a sick LIE to claim we don’t care about those in need, as you support an agenda that DESTROYS them.
I’m as American as they come, *******.

  15. Richie says:

    Mathew

    @PrisonerNumber9653

You are fool. If you were smart, you would not broadcast your ignorance to the world. Stark is a scumbag of the highest order – plain and simple – he doesn’t give two shits about unemployed morons like yourself. You are both a disgrace and neither has any business living in this country.

  16. Kelly says:

    Isaac

@666sigma He’s “So stupid”?? By telling the TRUTH that the wealthy and powers that be don’t want, and defending the needs of the PEOPLE??
The government is a fiscal disaster because of the Reagan upside-down mindset that the wealthy need tax CUTS and the poor pay too little and get too much. It’s not only a fiscal disaster, it’s a moral disaster.

  17. Elliot says:

    Luigi

@chicseeker The nation is not even vaguely CLOSE to bancrupcy. Not in the same UNIVERSE. Our debt is NOT a major problem, does NOT threaten our nation in any way. This LIE is cooked up for one reason, to give the right an excuse to further gut vital programs that are already desperately underfunded.

  18. Corine says:

    Harrison

@chicseeker Capitalism cannot be “corrupted”, it is essentially corrupt. The concept is immoral on its fact.

  19. Lois says:

    Ricky

@chicseeker Gee, I’m heartbroken, increasing taxes on the wealthy means they have less to hoard. How sad. The phony baloney “consequences” you talk about lead to the sick, immoral system we have NOW where the rich get richer as millions have no home, not enough to eat, no decent health care and the RICH get your sympathy and more tax cuts.

  20. Marci says:

    Bradley

@PrisonerNumber9653 worried about debt? RAISE TAXES. Simple, a 2 year old can get it

  21. Sybil says:

    Major

@PrisonerNumber9653 capitalism can be corrupted but it not essentially corrupt, its a concept of just being able to personally build your own wealth, thats pretty greedy but cmon lol lets be real

  22. Noah says:

    Zack

The more debt you have the wealthier you are? How does that make sense to him? So if you file for bankruptcy (excuse me, THE NATION) after so much debt what does he think that means??

  23. Marshall says:

    Stacey

I really hope that Representative Stark had a reality check. When has debt ever been a measure of wealth? Is it not a measure of the lack of wealth? I recall that Pete Stark has not studied economics at all! A law degree does not carry an economic degree with it. Here is hoping that things have changed. Otherwise it is time for an anti-incumbency movement to destroy this corrupt politician. The worst part is that he was born in Wisconsin where I’m from. Sorry California…

  24. Irene says:

    Suzanne

Pete Stark has always been is and shall ever be the biggest condescending ***** that has ever walked the face of this Earth.

He is a puppet just like all the other criminals that we call our leaders…

It is a disgrace that we sit by and do nothing about the ultimate act of treason which occurred in 1913 when Woodrow Wilson signed the Federal Reserve Act into law… This law gives power to a few men to create and control the money…

Laws are academic to these few men.
