The reality of attempting to remunerate credit card debt hits another half million newly unemployed persons each month and when added to the 15.3 million already out of work, things look grim to most Americans. The credit card monster is running wild and he is determined to eat you alive if you do not remunerate your portion of the trillion dollar plastic debt that has been forced upon the population.

It is perfectly not your fault that you are in this financial predicament. Many years ago a credit card company initiated proficiencies designed specifically to keep the intermediate American in debt for at least 20 years after they applied the card. The Frontline TV news program has aired consultations on PBS with inventors of the proficiencies formulated to keep you in debt and those proficiencies have been adopted and further refined by all card companies but it did not end there.

Top executives of financial originations continued refining these “easy money” systems that led to the depression we are in and the results triggered the greatest financial bailout in the history of the world for those companies that were “too huge to fail” when the so-called “bubble” popped on Wall Street.

All this “high-level” harebrained thinking was even rewarded with big bonuses for the executives who dreamed up the schemes. Americans stood in disbelief of what was happening but soon realized they were victims in a “pink slip hurricane” and there was no “bucket” for their bailout.

When faced with a decision to put feed on the table, a roof overhead or compensate credit card debt it is a “no-brainer” and it is the best possible place to start out your financial recovery. You actually may stop paying and stop worrying by using one little mystery that every one knows about. “Law” is the secret.

By law, banks are required to “write off” your credit account after six months of non-payment. Easy! Card companies do not like it when you do not play by “their rules” but by law they must close your account when you do not remunerate and that is the end of it. Anybody have an easy button?

Now comes the fun portion that is supposed to scare everybody. It is a debt aggregator all dressed up in a plastic “Godzilla” outfit attempting to convince every one that he is going to demolish their financial life and eat them alive! This is hilarious!

Federal “law” gives us the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act that controls debt collections and there are three necessary things to do not forget here. The initial is to “never” give a gatherer any info on the phone. Just say “communicate with me in writing only” and hang up the phone. Is this fun?

By law, he will have to now send you a “collection notice” and you “must” respond in writing by demanding proof that you owe him cash sent by registered mail with a return receipt so you have proof that you answered his notice. This is the second step.

A third step “may” be necessary “if” Godzilla files a lawsuit versus you. It is called a written denial and will have to be filed at your region clerk of court office. It is a simple statement that says something to the effect that “I deny that this is my debt and if it is my debt, I deny that it is still a valid debt and if it is a valid debt, I deny the amount sued for is the rectify amount.”

The written denial will strength the aggregator to give rise to a live witness that has “personal knowledge” of your alleged account and it just is not going to happen. The witness will have to have personal cognition of your account or the gatherer has no case!

You will have now salaried your debt using existent law to your advantage. Being a victim of a pink slip storm is bad but if you look around you will see persons that do not have the psychological result of perception learning and reasoning that you have. They believe the plastic monster is real but you recognise that plastic melts when sufficient “heat” is applied.

As share of the HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY® book series, each page in this book is consecrated to answering the question put forth on the front cover, namely, “How may you perhaps be a Mormon and a Democrat?” For those who sincerely want to know the answer to that question but are afraid of hearing the same old self-righteous, emotional, ivory-tower, pinko-commie propaganda, this book goes beyond merely expressing the political views of your intermediate Mormon Democrat. In fact, progressive views are staged in a way that is astoundingly satisfying to conservatives.Whether the topic is abortion, economics or Harry Reid, the political divergences amongst members of the LDS Church are not going away. This book does not try to resolve these very real disagreements. It may support clarify each debate, while supplying good news on each topic.Best of all, this book offers perspectives that veritably transcend the issues.

There’s not one thing so strange as getting yelled at for not finding the sour cream on your own. It was no less strange for Joe to find himself, after two years, staring in finish awe and amazement at the cereal aisle of the grocery store. It was a formative experience, to say the least. In the meantime, having earned a bachelors in mechanical engineering science from ASU, Joe has found work in respective and surprising engineering fields: from water treatment plants to designing multiple subdivisions, from aerospace solenoid valves and turbine engine elements to effigy guidance as a neurosurgical engineer.

5A+++!
By s.richardson
As a conservative, even galore Republicans are too liberal for me. I would commend this book for anybody who wants to become more tolerant of those with a liberal point of view. It seems to me that so a good deal of books are one-sided and extreme. I get angry when I undertake to read a liberal book, and I just become more adamant with regards to my point of view when I read a conservative book. It was nice to read something that didn’t bash the other side or undertake to change my point of view. My mind was not changed, but my heart was.

5You Can Be Mormon and a Democrat!
By David Carr
For starters, I am a Mormon and a Democrat (and an attorney). I was handed a copy of this book with the aim to never read it. Honestly, what arguments could there be that would convince me to switch political parties that I haven’t already heard? The thing in regards to this book is, though it is written for a conservative audience in mind, I found the format–that of more than one person voicing their opinions/ideas on aimed Mormon hot topics–to be astoundingly goal to be attained in it is handling of topics and forthright in it is areas of subjectivity. I loved the book. I don’t agree with everything said in the book, but I seldom agree with everything said by any editorial, politician, author, or even myself. This book, and it is author, took to the issues that Mormons quintessentially quote for being conservative, or moreso, Republican, and struck straight at their core. If you want to know why Mormons skew conservative, read the book. If you want to read a thoughtful and careful review of current political and religious topics, read the book. Finally, if you want to take delight in a good debate, while coming to comprehend the Mormon psyche just a bit better, read the book.

5Don’t let the title fool you!
By TBogle
I have to confess straightout that I recognise the author, so this may be just a tad biased, but I actually do think this is a great book. Instead of the popular finger-pointing and name-calling that you would find in political books, this book brings civil dialog in a way that I have not seen in any other book. The distinguishable format of this book pits two opposing views versus each other, from two humans who seemingly portion the same values and religious background. Instead of the typical rebuttal that you might expect, the two voices are then brought together to address what they agree on (which is ofttimes surprising to both parties). While covering a wide range of social and political issues, this book does not come all over as preachy, and might offer clear or deep perception to those both in and outside of the LDS faith that their idea of the stereotypical right-wing Mormon, is just that: a stereotype. A great read for all who may be even the slightest bit mesmerized in politics, in particular those looking to restore a little civility in their political discourse.

You mean somebody combined religion and politics into one book, and did so in a civil manner? From my persepctive, that is incisively what Joe has done.

I’m in the process of disputing several credit card charges that I never made. I’m feeling extremely vulnerable. I should have taken my Dad’s advice, “pay cash for everything and save your receipts”. Hindsight is 20/20. GRRRR

Thank you, Norman. Unfortunately, credit cards are a necessary evil in business. Were I still working the jobs I had before I owned my own business, I doubt I would have one, or I would only have one small one for limited use.

Gah, I don’t think my last comment posted, but anyways, I was watching a program about the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and then following that the program you were talking about came on.
The name of the other program I was talking about is Open Outcry. (Search “Open Outcry PBS” on Google for the link)

Both were great to watch :)

Yup – internet is great for satisfying transient curiosity!

I make it a point to pay off the whole sum on the card every month. The interest is way to high to pay! Mind you, it has happened I have let some go to the next month – but then when I see how much that cost me, I pay it all off!

Thanks for putting this in the spotlight. Credit cards are nasty stuff. Better to get a debit card.
