If you have a great deal of sure amount of unsettled debts last year and you want to get rid all of it this year, you will suppose a great deal of real challenges that you will have to move out from your ease zone. Solving your debt troubles might not be an easy task but if you stay focus and committed a lot of time on it – your personal battle is half won.
Let me tell you a real life story regarding Chris (not his real name), who had been racking up $51,000 credit card debts from five banks; felt frustrated because of his current financial situation. He managed saved a great deal of of his net profit around $1,000 per month in which he normally had this little saving as his emergency funds.
A year ago, his solution was not to bow his head to his creditors again and he was exceedingly determined to achieve it.
But one thing that genuinely bothers him – the creditors. They kept calling him for the duration of working hours to remind him constantly when it comes to his overdue payment.
One year later, Chris capable to settle most of his debts and his life in tremendous pain is regarding to end.
How did Chris settle his credit card debt and deal with such pressure?
How did he do that?
1. Don’t let your debt difficultnesses affect your occupation performance
Bear in mind that you still need to work to recompense your bills, support your family and settle your debt. Stay generative in work so that you may concentrate on your work without thinking when it comes to your current debt problems.
2. Save everything you may to use for your settlements
This is accomplishable if you are more than willing to change your spending habits. Like Chris, you may set up your own emergency funds and save your net income as much as possible for your own debt settlement. From now onwards, you need to set up a plan for your personal spending.
3. Start negotiating with the creditors and request for a payment plan
You will have to have the initiative to negotiate with the creditors by telling them your current financial situation. Then you may request for a payment plan that you afford to remunerate to eliminate your debts slowly.
4. Expect calls from the collection agencies
You can not keep out of the way of the creditors calling you each single day. It may be annoying and you may turn them away by not answering the phone or tell them to call again later if you’re in the middle at work. Make your voicemail or phone answering machine is working at that moment. Start consulting a local buyer lawyer regarding Fair Debt Collection Practice Act (FDCPA).
Based on Chris’s experience, a lot of of the collectors committed FDCPA violations. Therefore, save the calls on your voicemail or phone answering machine and perchance sue them for violating the law. If any individual who have violated FDCPA, the debtor will get compensation from the debt collection agency. The compensation that Chris received was diligently employed to settle his debts.

Even if you feel that you are already successful at what you do, I got to tell you from basi hand experience: you don’t recognise what you don’t know! This Book Is the Best Gift You Can Give Your Business! By Nicole Matthews Marley Majcher has written the book that all enterprisers need to read! Her humorous style, combined with her willingness to percentage her own mistakes, makes “But Are You Making Any Money?” the perfective associate for any person attempting to navigate the each and everyday struggles of running their own business. Marley has “been there, done that” and she is the initial to confess that it hasn’t always been easy but because of her commitment to learn and to in truth get inside her business, she developed a scheme that works (and is SUPER easy to implement!). Her willingness to portion her scheme rather of hoarding all of the answers for herself make her a true leader! It’s like she has unlocked the outstanding mysteries of how to run a business successfully. Regardless of whether or not you are in the event industry, Marley’s system transcends all businesses. She purposefully made the book an easy read (perfect for the busy entrepreneur) so there are no excuses why you couldn’t take a couple of hours to give your business this gift! Marley has broken her system down so whether you are a wizard with numbers or someone who scarcely knows the divergence amid “net” and “gross” there is something for everyone. I already know that “But Are You Making Any Money?” has helped me to get started running my business more efficiently, which yields a more robust bottom line! This will be a book I continually revisit not only for the amusive anecdotes Marley shares but to perpetually be checking in on the systems I have in place. I in the end have a business book that makes perfective sense!!

Finally a business book I may RELATE to! By Laura E. Maloney This book was super helpful and genuinely fun to read, which is saying a lot for a business ‘help’ book! My take away? There are a heap of practical, easy to apply schemes that will get you going in the right direction, fast. And the best percentage was after reading Marley’s recount of her own struggles in her business, I felt I wasn’t alone. If you’re ready to commence making cash in your business, do yourself a favor and buy this book.

My husband lives in a seperate town due to working situation. My name is not on some of the credit cards, but I’m going to start attempting to settle the debts ourselves soon. Will they deal with me even though I’m not on some of the accounts?

Does this only work in the US or do Credit Card lenders do this in other countries too?

Thanks for the video Richard! I am way far in debt and I have stopped paying all my credit cards (which are beyond just maxed out) and I have been getting annoying messages from credit card companies trying to get me to make a payment. Some of my cards have already been charged off. I am glad to know that I may be able to settle for as low as 10 cents on the dollar some time in the future when I may be able to do that. Thanks again for your helpful information on your video!

I was just about to get a debt settlement company to help me when I saw your videos. You have really hit the nail on giving good info on those issues that are no.1 in our minds. I think that I shall do the debt settlement myself.

Your youtube videos are extremely insightful. Thanks Richard. I will be emailing you my situation. I have heard some of this stuff from Dave Ramsey. But since he is a public figure I do not think he can get into specifics.
I suggest if you are in over your head. Make sure you prioritize your debt. 1. Shelter 2 Food and # 100000 would be your credit cards. Your Fica score is just not that important.
