5Big and Strong Enough
By Gary C. Johansen
I had purchased one of the cast aluminum citrus press a week before and broke it after one day. As I use it for the most part for limes and lemons I didn’t want a stand type press because it took up too much kitchen counter real estate. So I did a search on the net and came throughout this one.

5a handy tip for squeezing
By Ilya Tsymbal
This isn’t without delay obvious, and without doubt more or less counter-intuitive, so I thought I would share. To prevent the juice from squirting up into your eyes, and to achieve proper extraction, you need to place the lemon or lime half with the cut side pointed down into the press, not up facing you, which would seem to fit better. The squeezer will get each last drop out, and in the procedure invert the skin of the citrus inside out, leaving you with only the skin and no juice.

5Works great
By Robert S. Tobias
I purchased one of the less pricey green aluminum juicers and it broke in the middle of the firstborn lime. This is solidly built and I suppose it to last for a very long time. Also, it’s longer handle means it’s having little impact to use.
