The Eterna StoryWhat, in 1856, set out as a factory fabricating blank movements, in time, grew into a mature fabricating enterprise thanks to the vision and persistency of founding collaborator Urs Schild. As a family-owned company, Eterna has remained faithful to it is introductory system of belief – that of perfecting the classic art of watchmaking. It has managed this with outstanding aplomb, as may be seen from the series of mileposts that have marked the past 150 years.
In 1995 the company was taken over by the Porsche Family. Since then , designers, watchmakers and engineers have been collaborating on merchandise designed to keep Eterna and it is inheritance of tradition at the forefront of progress – merchandise such as Porsche Design’s high-end, high-performance timepieces.

From the introductory conception of a motion to it is series manufacture, we deploy the latest in engineering science and computing technology to fetch our new design solutions to fruition.
