5Eterna Navidad- Christmas Forever
By Monica Gonzalez
This CD is a dream come true! My mom used to play tapes of spanish/mexican christmas music to us as little kids. This CD has all of the songs we learned as children. I highly commend this CD!

5Classic 80s Pop Christmas Music
By Susana O
My title’s kind of tongue in cheek, but this album is a lot of fun and brings back a lot of memories if you were a kid in the 80s and you enjoyed the music. A lot of them are Spanish-language translations of Christmas classics in English–and they work. I was in Mexico for Christmas the year they freed the introductory album (without the bonus tracks); not one thing brings back Christmas in Mexico like these songs.

3Tatiana’s Jingle Bells makes worth buying this release
By M.M.
There are numerous good artists featured, and even though a great deal of of them are my idols (ie. Myriam Hernandez) I have to confess that the songs they performed were not well suitable for their voices and singing style. But Tatiana’s brilliant rendition of “Jingle Bells” in Spanish: “Campanas Navidenas” saves this collection. Tatiana’s voice suits perfectly the Christmas classic done in a 80′s electro-pop style. The track is definately 5-stars. As an overall collection I would rate it with 3 stars.

The edition shown on this page is a re-issue of the firstborn 1986 release. But it’s hard to tell if it’s a new remaster. The album original appeared on CD in 1991 (in the US, as far as I know).
