Nice scope
By D. MCKICHAN
Just got this and it arrived very well packaged both by Brunton and Amazon. The Brunton Box and foam would have likely let it survive a 6 foot plus fall or whatsoever normally happens to mangle a lot of of my packages by the time they arrive. The scope itself has good heft to it and seems well made. It is labeled made in Japan. Comes with a very fixed manual but there actually isnt much to figure out on a scope anyways. Also ships with a soft neoprene case.
I took it out on the deck at around 8:15 to 8:45 PM to try it out at dusk. Very sharp image. Was competent to read the little letters that tell the month of renewal on our license plates on a car from a little over a block and a half away. Could see the person links on a chain link fence a little further out and was competent to get a sharp effigy on signs 7-8 blocks away.
20x was by far the brighest image, which was to be expected, peculiarly based on the time of day I was out. Wheel adjusts up to 45x with 28x and 36x marked by number and the interceding 4x jumps marked by dot. My tripod isn’t the greatest which even at 20x was noticeable as you in truth need to be capable to lock in minute adjustments in order to get the effigy centered. Any little finetune out of alignment may make a big divergence in what is in the effigy and the problem gets worse as the exposure goes up.
Overall a very nice scope.

Excellent Spotting Scope
By Wayne E. Bennett
I tried out this scope today having received it from Amazon this week. Upon receipt I noticed that the eyepiece installed at the factory was not the rectify one which is 20 x 45 only. Simple call to Brunton who is sending me the rectify eyepiece. Simple to alter it by turning is counter clockwise to remove it. At the range today the scope work super with very clear imaging. The ease of use is noted. I do not think any person who purchases this spotting scope will be unhappy. Well worth the cash I paid. If you are only going to own one of these in your life get a good one….like the Brunton Eterna 62 mm.

Excellent piece of glass. Can see 30cal. bullet holes at 500 yds.on a cloudy day. Great field of view and clear as a bell. Light sufficient to carry in the field.
