Its me…for right now at least!

I basi came across this fragrance at my local Nordstrom(King of Prussia) in late 2006. I sprayed it on my wrist and continued on my buying goods day. Later that evening when I got home, I kept catching myself positioning my wrist (was sitting at the computer) near my nose just so I could smell it.
Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir to me is an almost intoxicating scent. 4 Years later it is still my go to scent. I have dabbled with others (Escada Sunset Heat, Lacoste Challenge, Burberry Sport) but I keep coming back to this one. I’ve gone through when it comes to 3 bottles in the 4 years. I am lucky (or unlucky depends on how you look at it) to have “potent skin”? Basically I only have to spray one or two sprays (usually base of the neck front and back) and it stays all day and won’t actually fade. It also helps to implement right after a shower and after moisturizing.
My firstborn impression upon spraying the Soir is a verrry earthy note. The only thing I may compare it to is dirt, and I mean this in the sheer best way possible. Like the dirt that was in the garden of Adam and Eve just before he bit the apple. The arid down (which I find addicting) is an more or less metallic(similar to Chanel Platinum Egoiste yet not as “soapy” smelling) yet smooth tea/citrus(kinda like acqua di gio *shudders*) scent. Its a great combining of scents with the Darjeeling tea and Bergamot in truth making it for me.
I am not somebody who genuinely has a “day cologne” and “night cologne” or a “going out cologone”. So I wear this one to school, work, play, heck I wear it to bed once in a while haha.
I wear this for one reason and reason only. I like the way it smells. I don’t care who likes/dislikes it. I think it the only way to have a cologne “work” for you is to buy one YOU like. Not one you think OTHERS will like. Every cologne reacts differently to each humans skin. So when you go cologne hunting make sure to take this into account!
I highly suggest get your hands on a sample. Actually spray this on your skin (don’t just use a little sample stick) and then re-visit it over the course of the day.
Now onto the other stuff. The packaging is classic BVLGARI. Its simple, yet exceedingly classy. The bottle has a substantial heft to it. Watch out for the lid, Its made of real metal(imagine that!) and rather heavy! The spray is pretty intermediate though. Just sufficient for me!
Overall I give this one a 9.8/10 (for the spray, it is not the sheer best…that award for me goes to Chanel Pour Monsieur Concentree)

Elegant and refreshing

Elegant, pleasant, freshening and wears well. It is rather suitable for the boardroom and evening as well. I used to like RL Romance and Aqua di Gio. This is my new favorite. It is not mellow, or strong either and rather more graceful than the evening only Aqua di GIO.
My wife (Lancome-Tresor only lady) is much better at judging parfums than i may ever be, does not like rather a few colognes. She without delay liked this one.

hmmmmm…the best men’s cologne ever!

This fragrance smells fresh from the shower clean. It so good that when I smell it on my Husband, my nose is called to the pulse point where I sniff then purr like a sex kitten. Meeeeeeeeeeoooowww!
